Pakistan: Looming water calamity in the Hunza Valley

The lives of thousands of families in northern Pakistan are facing acute danger as the dam created by landslides in the Hunza Valley earlier this year threatens to begin overflowing and flooding surrounding areas.  It has killed 20 and left more than 25,000 people disconnected. Many villages have been evacuated as the water is expected to rise further in the coming days because of rain and melting glaciers.
