A NEW INITIATIVE HCI’s Women Skill Training and Development Program



In Sanda kalan, Lahore, many girls are eager to learn some skill to help support themselves and their families. They dream of a better future but have no means of realising their dreams. Their neighbourhood is too poor to have training centres that can teach them the skills that they need to become a contributing member of the community.

HCI wants to change this. We are raising funds to establish a school that offers free training in sewing, stitiching and embroidery as well as trainining supplies to train girls to a level that they can do sewing and embroidery to earn a living. Local known scocial workers will manage this school with high integerity according to HCI policies and procedures.
