Floods in Bangladesh
Every year, millions of people in Bangladesh are affected by floods. This year, the floods will affect more than 4 MILLION people, while destroying 400,000 homes. The death toll is already rising, with more than 60 people reported dead.
HCI has been operating in Bangladesh since 1980, working with reputable local partners. In the past five years alone, we have disbursed almost $1.5 MILLION of aid for emergency relief, refugee assistance, and various sustainable development projects related to education and healthcare.
Currently HCI is on the ground assisting those affected by the floods. Please help us provide basic necessities such as food, water, hygiene kits, and urgent medical care. We are working in the most affected regions, including Syllet, Bogra, Netrokona, Jamalpur, Sirajganj, and others. Please donate below.
