CANADIAN PROGRAMS
HELPING IN OUR OWN BACKYARD
For decades now, Human Concern International has been working with local partners to support Canadians living in poverty. We often overlook the fact that there are large segments of disadvantaged populations in Canada who are in need of support.
Despite being one of the wealthiest countries in the world, Canadians are underserved in food security, child poverty, and housing. Furthermore, indigenous communities are often significantly disadvantaged and underserved, resulting in high levels of mental illnesses, and substance abuse.
