INDIA UNDER ATTACK
Violence in India’s capital has resulted in 53 deaths, more than 250 injured and 4 mosques set on fire.
Victims’ houses have been burned and destroyed completely. More than 5,000 Thousand of people are now living in makeshift relief camps set up for those who fled last month’s riots. The clusters of tents are overcrowded and lacking some basic amenities for sanitation and hygiene — a dangerous situation amid a global coronavirus outbreak.
They are in urgent need of food, clothes, shelter and health care support.
HCI is providing relief kits to the victims of the riots. The relief kits contain food, clothes, toiletries and educational supplies for children. Each kit costs $100.
